Memory, Entropy and Time

Sean Caroll over at Preposterous Universe discusses an intriguing (but not new) idea, that
the thermodynamic arrow of time -- the fact entropy is very small in the past, and tends to grow on purely statistical grounds -- is responsible for the fact that we can remember the past but not the future.
