Blog Carnivals ...

With so many bloggers posting every day, it's hard to keep track of the latest greatest trends. Either you can subscribe to a memepool, or you can read a weekly summary of happenings in what is typically called a 'carnival'. The most famous one is the Carnival of the Vanities; it has been going for two years now, and attempts to collect the best of the blogosphere on a wide variety of topics. Some weekly carnivals are themed: for example, here's an insect-themed one.

But there are many specialized carnivals as well. Perhaps you want to understand the inner workings of the capitalist world. Or maybe you just want to buy stuff, and eat it. Or you like to write and want to see what others are upto. Maybe you live in Canada, and watch the Bush administration activities with great interest.

Even if you are a doctor (medical, or Ph.D), there is a carnival for you. Or maybe you just like cats.

But if you like clickety-clacking on a keyboard for a living, there isn't a carnival for you...yet....
