Hmm... I read this post, and decided that maybe I should submit something. But I guess you had to have submitted an abstract by Nov. 23 in order to submit a full paper? Not being a computational geometer (just a regular one), I have to ask: What's the purpose of having two submission deadlines? Twice the stress?
From the submission server : This year we are doing something new. We are asking you to first submit an abstract, a week before submitting the paper. We will use these abstracts to assign papers to program committee members, so that when the papers arrive we can distribute them immediately, giving the reviewers more time to do a good job.
Since we have never done this before, it will still be possible to submit your paper even if you have not submitted an abstract ahead of time. But please be aware that the reviewing process for these papers will proceed a little less quickly and efficiently.
